Geordie Jahner, Ph.D. ~ 5Rhythms™ Dance facilitator and Oneness Trainer, USA/NZ
“Dance and Deeksha” – Experiencing Oneness through 5Rhythms™ Ecstatic Dance
New Zealand-born Geordie Jahner, Ph.D. is a dance artist, educator, and experienced facilitator of movement-based therapies exploring the transformative power of dance. Formerly a professional modern dancer and dance teacher (working with Limbs Dance Company), Geordie currently leads seminars and workshops internationally teaching the 5Rhythms work of Gabrielle Roth and the Halprin Life/Art Process. Geordie is passionate about helping others become enlivened through the transformative power of dance and meditation. She has studied many forms of dance throughout her life including classical ballet, modern dance, jazz, improvisational movement, African dance and belly dance – as well as 5Rhythms - while simultaneously pursuing studies in Psychology, exploring the relationship between movement, healing and spiritual practice. Since March 2010 she is an Oneness Trainer for the Oneness University in India.
Geordie is a Teaching Associate of The Moving Center NYC, and Founder of The Studio Maui – Maui’s premier movement and healing arts center: www.thestudiomaui.comGeordie is passionate about the exploration of dance as a healing art, as a performing art, and as spiritual practice. Her classes and workshops which are open to everyone, are designed to free the spontaneous dancer living inside each of us, inviting participants to sink deeper into presence. He earned his master’s degree in Sport Psychology at Ithaca College, New York and worked as a sport psychologist with elite athletes. Jerome has owned and run businesses over 20 years in Education, Franchising and Computer Software. He has worked as a business coach and professional speaker for 5 years. He has provided strategic advice and planning support to hundreds CEOs and senior managers of small and medium businesses (SMEs). He has also run public and in-house seminars on a wide range of business topics for hundreds of SMEs. His key talent is inspiring smart thinking to grow your business.
Hands on Oneness Blessings will be given by 4 New Zealand Oneness Trainers, Geordie & Rahim Jahner and Jerome & Adriane Hartigan, during the evening. You will have an opportunity to practice the success process, in conjunction with the energy of the Oneness Blessing.
